Traditional, southern family values are paramount in this quiet town. Other than a community country store, a beloved pizza place, and a furniture restoration store, you will not find much shopping in Mineral Springs, but Waxhaw is just a 5-10 minute drive for these local families.
Parkwood High School has been a part of the Mineral Springs community for over 64 years. While smaller than surrounding high schools, it has strong parent involvement, with teachers and staff entrenched in the community. It feels like an extension of your family.
